宝应水域宽广，降水丰沛，地表水和地下水资源都很丰富，最低可用量160000 万立方米，人均占有量高于全省水平，并且水质较好。位于县城大运河畔的自来水公司，实施闭路电视监控等自动化生产管理，日供水能力10万吨。各镇也都建有自来水厂。 |

Baoying has wide water
area, and the precipitation is abundant ; the resources of Surface
water and ground water are plentiful, of which the minimum available
volume is 160000 cube meters. The capacity of water occupancy
by one person is higher than that of the provincial level,
especially the water quality is good. The Waterworks locates
near the Grand Canal has the ability of supplying 100,000
T water per day. All towns have their own Waterworks.

宝应用电由华东电网提供，拥有35千伏及以上变电所12座，主变压器21台，总容量28.58万千伏安，其中220KV/1座1台/12万KVA；110KV/2座3台/7.
3 万 KVA ， 35KVA/9座17台/9.28万KVA，35千伏及以上线路25条303公里，10千伏配电线路57条
1516公里，低压线路5362公里，形成了以220千伏为龙头，110千伏为主体，35千伏为基础的供电网络。 |

power in Baoying is supplied by East-China Power Net,and we have
twelve Transformer Stations of 35KV. and over 35KV. , 21
main transformers, with total volume of 285,800 KVA;
among which there is a 220KV. station, a transformer, with 120,000 KVA; two 110KV stations, three transformers, with 73,000 KVA; nine 35KVA stations, 17 transformers,
with 92,800 KVA; and there are 25 lines of 35KV amounting to 25km, 57 lines of 10 KV amounting to
1516 km, low voltage lines amounting to 5362km, which have formed
a network of power suplly with the head of 220kv transmission lines,
the main body of 110kv transmission lines ,
and the basis of 35kv transmission lines . |

县委、县政府致力打造环保热电工程。2003年11月30日，协鑫环保热电工程项目正式开工。热电联供项目一期工程投资2.3亿元，项目建成后，年发电量1.65亿千瓦时，供热162万GJ。目前主厂房、百米烟囱已顺利封顶，冷却塔基础设施、化学楼、110KV配电室等都已浇筑成功，今年1月，机组正式并网发电并供热。 |

| The committee and government in the county devote to establish environment-protection thermoelectricity project. Xie xin environment-protection thermoelectricity project started working in Nov. 30, 2003. The investment for the first phase of the thermoelectricity project is 230 million yuan. The annual power supply volume will be 165 million kilowatt-hours;and the heating supply will be 1.62 million GJ if the establishment of the project is successful,The main plants and hundred-meter chimney have already been finished,so have the basic establishment of cooling tower,chemistry building and the 110kv.transformer station.electricity and heat have been provided since Jan. |
